ESBURG – The following statement on the city of Galesburg’s approved agreement to expand the Lane A. Evans VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Galesburg can be attributed to Rep. Mike Halpin.
“When it comes to healthcare access, our veterans who bravely served our country deserve to be first in line. Our veterans made the sacrifice, we owe them our gratitude and we must continue to provide them services when they return home. As a former aide to congressman Lane Evans, I’ve always known the importance of putting our veterans first. My sincere thanks go to the City of Galesburg and the Department of Veterans Affairs for expanding this important clinic and for keeping Lane’s legacy alive in western Illinois.”
